Individual Therapy
We’ll talk it through, think it through, feel it through, and sense into your experiences. You lead, I’ll walk with you. If you’re not sure where to go, we’ll figure it out together. We have options.
Your concerns, needs, and goals guide our work together in every session. My role is to companion your desired growth, collaborating with you to generate a safe and thoughtful connection where you can express and process, clarify and consider, debrief and decide. We work together to identify what solutions and approaches meet you where you are, and move you where you want to move. There is no single path forward, rather many ways to cultivate change, relieve stress and distress, and interrupt relentless patterns and habits.
Uncover, discover, discard. Reimagine, restore, re-story.
Accelerated Resolution Therapy
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is a unique evidence-based therapy shown to be effective treating: PTSD, OCD, Eating Disorders, Anxiety, and Depression, sometimes in one single session.
Accelerated Resolution Therapy is procedural and also creative and imaginative, using both somatic and classical therapy techniques to resolve persistent symptoms quickly. Combining the enormous power of eye movements with well-established therapies like Gestalt, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Guided Imagery, ART sessions guide you to replace negative images in the mind that cause the distressing symptoms with positive images of your choosing. You are in control of the process and the images, while the ART Therapist is a supportive, affriming guide.
Walk and Talk Therapy
Walk and Talk Therapy allows us to incorporate gentle movement and immersion in nature to support our therapeutic discussions. We might stroll sidewalks and bike paths while talking.
There are numerous benefits to direct engagement with the natural world, particularly in combination with therapeutic process. How does this work? We meet at my office downtown, and can walk one of a few different pre-mapped loops in the area, ending up back at the office. You set the pace, I track the time, and our work emerges side-by-side while moving forward through space and time, figuratively and literally. There are of course risks and responsibilities which we wil discuss to ensure this is a suitable approach for you, and is not in any way an exercise program.
Move A Muscle, Change A Thought. Let’s go.
